About the Role

BitDelta is seeking a sharp, analytical, and execution‑driven Risk Analyst to strengthen our global risk oversight across digital assets and traditional financial markets. This role sits within a centralised risk function and plays a critical part in safeguarding the integrity, stability, and resilience of our trading ecosystem.

You will work across multiple jurisdictions and asset classes, partnering with Trading, Treasury, Product, Compliance, and Technology teams to enhance risk governance, improve data quality, and support informed, timely decision‑making. This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives in fast‑moving fintech environments and brings structure, clarity, and analytical depth to complex risk challenges.

What You’ll Lead

Risk Monitoring & Analytics

• Monitor and analyse market, liquidity, credit, and operational risks across crypto and traditional asset classes.
• Track exposures, limits, and emerging vulnerabilities across trading activities and counterparties.
• Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to assess resilience under varying market conditions.

Frameworks, Governance & Controls

• Support the development and enhancement of group‑wide risk frameworks, policies, and risk appetite metrics.
• Strengthen risk governance through structured processes, documentation, and oversight.
• Provide risk input on new products, counterparties, and strategic initiatives.

Reporting & Insights

• Produce regular risk dashboards, analytics, and insights for senior leadership.
• Validate and enhance internal risk models (e.g., VaR, stress testing methodologies).
• Identify market trends, anomalies, and potential risk events, converting data into actionable recommendations.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Trading, Compliance, Treasury, Product, and Technology to improve risk controls, data quality, and operational discipline.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across risk processes, tooling, and reporting.

What You Bring

Experience & Technical Skills

• 2–3 years of experience in risk, trading, analytics, or financial services (crypto/fintech strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of multi‑asset markets: crypto, FX, CFDs, equities, commodities.
• Knowledge of core risk concepts: VaR, stress testing, liquidity risk, credit risk.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL/Python is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments across financial or digital asset markets.
