BitDelta is a global cryptocurrency trading platform built for speed, security, and seamless execution. We operate two flagship products — BitDelta.com for retail traders and BitDelta.pro for institutional clients — and we’re looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer who can elevate the experience across both.
This is a role for a designer who blends craft with strategy, who thinks in systems, and who thrives in complex, multi‑surface environments. You will shape the design vision, build foundational systems, and raise the bar for how users experience trading across web and mobile.
What You’ll Lead
Experience Strategy & Design Leadership
- Define and champion the UX vision across BitDelta.com and BitDelta.pro.
- Build and maintain a unified design system that scales across both ecosystems.
- Contribute to a growing design organisation by supporting hiring, mentoring, and design culture.
- Drive user‑centric decision‑making across Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
User Research & Insight Generation
- Operationalise continuous research: usability testing, interviews, heatmaps, funnels, and behavioural insights.
- Translate qualitative and quantitative data into clear design opportunities and prioritised improvements.
- Own personas, journey maps, and JTBD frameworks for both retail and institutional users.
- Benchmark BitDelta against leading exchanges and identify UX gaps proactively.
What You’ll Design (End‑to‑End Ownership)
Acquisition & Onboarding
- Landing pages, signup flows, KYC journeys, trust‑building elements, and activation experiences.
Trading Experience
- High‑performance interfaces for spot, derivatives, and copy trading: order entry, charting, depth, and portfolio views.
Account & Settings
- Profile management, verification tiers, referral/IB portals, notifications, and account controls.
Mobile Experience
- Seamless UX across native apps and responsive web, respecting platform‑specific patterns.
Funding & Withdrawals
- Clear, fast, frictionless flows for deposits, withdrawals, and transaction confirmations.
Marketing & Growth
- Campaign pages, feature launch creatives, CRM templates, and in‑app growth surfaces.
AI‑Driven Design Practice
- Use AI tools (Figma AI, Framer AI, research synthesis tools) to accelerate ideation and iteration.
- Champion personalised and adaptive UI as a differentiator across both platforms.
- Explore AI‑powered features: smart defaults, contextual help, personalised onboarding.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Group CEO and Head of Product to align UX with business strategy.
- Partner with Engineering to ensure feasibility, fidelity, and component reuse.
- Collaborate with Marketing to maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Represent UX in leadership discussions with clear, business‑aligned storytelling.
What You Bring
- 5–8+ years in UI/UX or product design, ideally in fintech, trading, or complex multi‑surface products.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end product design, systems thinking, and high‑quality interaction design.
- Experience designing data‑dense or high‑stakes interfaces (trading, analytics, financial tools).
- Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
- Strong understanding of UX research methods and how to operationalise them.
- Experience building or contributing to design systems.
Preferred
- Background in crypto, derivatives, brokerage, or financial markets.
- Familiarity with trading concepts (order books, leverage, execution logic).
- Experience designing for both retail and professional user personas.
- Exposure to AI‑assisted design workflows.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and storytelling abilities.
- High ownership mindset and comfort in fast‑moving environments.
- Ability to balance simplicity for beginners with depth for power users.
- Collaborative, proactive, and committed to raising the design bar.
